'The plum 'Czar' is a compact consistently fruiting plum mainly used for culinary purposes. As its self fertile it is an easy addition for a smaller garden or area. It produces small white flowers in spring and bearing fruit in mid to late summer. The plums are an attractive deep blue-purple in colour. It is a hardy tree and a spot with full sun and some sheltering is ideal.
