Cherry Tree: Prunus Avium: Stella

'Stella' is a vigorous growing, hardy cherry tree in pollinator group 4. It is self fertile requiring no other pollinators, although it works well with other fruit trees. It bares large, dark red-purple fruit, with regular heavy crops. The fruit has good flavour and the flesh is very juicy. It has a nice white blossom in spring for pollinators and fruit can be cropped from late July onwards. Its hardy and ideally should be located in full sun with some sheltering.
