Planting Instructions
Plant Large-leaved Oleaster (Elaeagnus macrophylla) in sun or partial shade in well-drained soil. Water the pots before planting. Dig each hole wider than the rootball and plant at the same depth as in the pot. Backfill, firm gently and water thoroughly.
For a hedge, space plants approximately 60–90 cm apart, adjusting to suit the desired density. Water regularly during dry spells through the first growing season. Apply a mulch, keeping it clear of the stems, and trim lightly to encourage bushy growth.
Size & Specification
Pack of five Large-leaved Oleaster (Elaeagnus macrophylla) plants, each supplied in a 2-litre pot at approximately 60–80 cm tall. Plants are living specimens and their shape and size will vary.
A vigorous, spreading evergreen shrub that can reach approximately 3 metres tall and 5 metres wide if left untrimmed. Regular pruning can maintain a more compact hedge.

Wildlife & Ecological Notes
Dense evergreen foliage provides year-round shelter and cover for garden wildlife. The fragrant autumn flowers can provide a late-season food source for visiting pollinators. Avoid trimming where birds are actively nesting.
