A charming compact Japanese maple that offers exceptional year-round interest. Bi-hoo is particularly valued for its bright green-yellow spring foliage that matures to fresh green in summer, before turning warm orange and red tones in autumn. The real showstopper is its stunning golden-yellow stems that provide brilliant winter colour when the leaves have fallen.

Wildlife & Ecological Notes

Japanese maples provide shelter and nesting habitat for small birds and insects. The delicate foliage supports aphids which in turn attract ladybirds and other beneficial insects. A valuable ornamental species for wildlife-friendly garden designs.
