Planting Instructions

Dig a generous hole, position the rootball, backfill firmly and water thoroughly. Mulch generously around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds.

Remove old, damaged, or weak canes at ground level in spring to encourage strong new growth and maintain the elegant, open form. Black cane colour develops fully over 2–3 years.
