Planting Instructions
Plant bare root Golden Privet during the dormant season, November to March, for best establishment. Dig a hole wide enough to spread the roots without bending them and deep enough so the root collar sits at soil level. Backfill with the excavated soil, firm gently, and water in well. For hedging, plant at 3–5 plants per metre in a single or staggered double row. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Golden colour is most intense in a sunny position.
