About Camellia japonica
An upright to spreading evergreen shrub with oval, deep glossy green leaves 7–10cm long. Solitary flowers 6–10cm across are borne at the tips of branches in spring. Available in White or Pink flower colour — select your preference above.

Planting Instructions
Plant in spring or autumn in acidic, humus-rich, well-drained soil (pH 5.5–6.5). Camellias prefer a sheltered position in partial to full shade — north- and east-facing walls are ideal, protecting flowers from morning sun after frost which can cause petal scorch.
Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball and to the same depth as the pot. Backfill with ericaceous compost mixed with excavated soil, firm in well, and water thoroughly. Water regularly using rainwater where possible. Mulch annually and feed with ericaceous fertiliser in spring after flowering.
