About Camellia Japonica: A magnificent evergreen shrub renowned for its stunning spring flowers and glossy foliage. Features leathery, dark green oval leaves and produces spectacular blooms from late winter through spring. The flowers can be single, semi-double, or fully double in shades ranging from pure white through pink to deep red, depending on variety.

Growing Conditions: Thrives in partial shade in moist, well-drained acidic soil (ericaceous compost). Protect from early morning sun and cold winds. Perfect for woodland gardens or sheltered positions. Excellent in containers using ericaceous compost.
