Ceanothus ‘Victoria’ is widely regarded as one of the finest of all the California lilacs — and it is easy to see why. In late spring, its dense, upright form is smothered in rich, deep blue flower clusters that create a truly spectacular display against the glossy, dark green evergreen foliage. Fast-growing and long-flowering, it is an outstanding choice for a sunny wall or fence, as a freestanding specimen in a sheltered border, or as an informal screen. Few shrubs deliver such intense colour with so little effort.
