Plant in an open, sunny position in well-drained soil with plenty of space to accommodate its eventual size. Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball and to the same depth. Backfill, firm gently, and water in thoroughly. Stake for the first two years. Water regularly during the first growing season. Once established, Cedrus atlantica 'Glauca' is drought-tolerant and requires minimal care. No regular pruning needed — remove dead or damaged branches only.
