Planting Instructions
Plant in spring or autumn in moist, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Choose a sheltered position in full sun or partial shade, protected from cold drying winds. Cornus 'China Girl' prefers slightly acidic to neutral soil — avoid shallow chalk or waterlogged ground.
Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball and the same depth. Place the tree so the root flare sits at soil level, backfill, firm well, and water thoroughly. Stake for the first two years to prevent wind rock.
