Planting Instructions
Plant Leylandii (Cupressocyparis leylandii) in full sun or partial shade in well-drained soil. Space plants approximately 90–120 cm (3–4 feet) apart for a dense hedge.
Water the pot thoroughly before planting. Dig a hole wider than the rootball and plant at the same depth as in the pot. Backfill, firm gently and water well. Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged during establishment, particularly in dry weather.
Mulch around the base, keeping mulch clear of the trunk. Trim regularly to maintain the desired height and width. Avoid cutting back into old brown wood, as it may not regrow.
