Planting Instructions
Plant Leylandii (Cupressocyparis leylandii) in full sun or partial shade in well-drained soil. Space plants approximately 1 metre apart for a dense hedge.
Water thoroughly before planting. Dig a hole wider than the rootball and plant at the same depth as in the pot. Backfill, firm gently and water well. Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged while the plants establish, especially during dry weather.
Apply mulch around the base, keeping it clear of the trunk. Trim regularly during the growing season to control height and width; avoid cutting into old brown wood.
