Planting Instructions
Plant in full sun to partial shade in moist well-drained slightly acidic soil. Avoid shallow chalk soils. Dig a generous hole, incorporate organic matter, backfill, firm, and water thoroughly. Stake firmly for the first 2-3 years. Water regularly during the first two growing seasons. Mulch around the base. Remove dead or crossing branches in late winter.
