Planting Instructions
Plant in a sheltered position in full sun to partial shade, in moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Incorporate ericaceous compost or well-rotted organic matter at planting. Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball, position so the top of the root ball is level with the soil surface, backfill and firm in well. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch around the base to retain moisture and protect roots. Avoid frost pockets and exposed sites where late spring winds might damage the blooms. Water regularly during the first two growing seasons. Pruning is rarely needed — remove only dead or crossing branches immediately after flowering.
