Planting Guide

• Position: Full sun; sheltered from strong winds for best fruit set
• Soil: Deep, fertile, well-drained; slightly acidic to neutral pH preferred
• Spacing: Allow 4–6m between trees depending on rootstock and ultimate size
• Pollination: Varieties are selected for compatibility — plant within 50m of each other for best results

Care Tips

• Stake each tree at planting and water well through the first two growing seasons
• Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds
• Prune in late winter to establish a strong framework and encourage fruiting spurs
• Feed with a balanced fruit tree fertiliser each spring
