Planting Instructions
Plant Tricolour Osmanthus (Osmanthus heterophyllus ‘Tricolor’) in sheltered sun or partial shade in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Avoid frozen or waterlogged ground. Water the pot before planting, dig a hole wider than the rootball and plant at the same soil level as in the container. Backfill, firm gently and water thoroughly.
Water regularly during establishment and dry spells. Apply mulch over the root zone, keeping it clear of the stems. Shelter from cold, drying winds. Trim lightly as needed to maintain shape and remove wholly green reverting shoots at their origin.
