Growing Conditions

Photinia 'Red Robin' thrives in full sun to partial shade, with the most intense red colouration achieved in sunny positions. Adaptable to most well-drained soils including clay and chalk. Hardy to -15°C, this robust evergreen tolerates urban pollution, coastal exposure, and exposed sites.

Planting & Care

Water regularly during establishment and feed in spring with a balanced fertiliser to encourage vibrant new growth. Planting Instructions

Plant year-round in well-prepared, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Photinia 'Red Robin' tolerates most soil types including clay and chalk. Size & Specification

Supplied as a premium specimen-grade topiary ball, professionally trained over several years to achieve exceptional form and density. Supplied in a large nursery pot ready for immediate display or planting.

Eventual height and spread: 3–4m if left unclipped. Responds well to regular trimming and can be maintained at any desired size. Hardy to -15°C (RHS H5).
