Photinia 'Red Robin Compacta' is a more refined, compact selection of the ever-popular Red Robin, trained here as a half standard: a shorter clear stem topped with a large, dense, rounded head. The result is a perfectly proportioned evergreen tree that excels in smaller spaces, patios, courtyards, and large containers. With a 90-100cm wide head , this plant will give a great deal of cover .

Planting Instructions
Thrives in containers or planted in the ground. For containers, use a large pot with drainage holes and quality, well-drained compost. Position in full sun for the most vivid red colour, though it tolerates partial shade. Tolerates most soil types including clay. Avoid waterlogged conditions.
Water regularly during the growing season. Feed container plants monthly in spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser. Trim lightly after each flush of red growth in late spring to maintain the rounded head and encourage repeat colour. Stake securely if planted in the ground.
