Secure the frame to a wall, fence, or posts for stability. Water regularly during the first growing season to establish roots. Feed with a balanced slow-release fertiliser in spring. Trim lightly in late spring after the flush of new growth to maintain the pleached form and encourage dense, colourful foliage.
