Portuguese Laurel: Prunus Lusitanica

A large and robust evergreen shrub, low maintenance and ideal for hedging. With a more formal look than its close relative the common Cherry Laurel. It produces dark red shoots that turn to a dark oval green leaf. Small white flowers appear in early summer and are followed by dark purple fruits in autumn.
