Planting Instructions
Plant in a sunny or lightly shaded position in well-drained soil. Tolerates most soils but performs best in fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained conditions. Excellent in large containers with quality loam-based compost such as John Innes No. 3.
Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball. Backfill, firm in well, and water thoroughly. Mulch around the base to retain moisture. Water regularly during the first growing season. Minimal pruning required — remove any dead or crossing branches immediately after flowering. Feed with a balanced fertiliser in spring.
