Planting Instructions
Plant in spring or autumn in well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Tolerates most soils including chalk and clay, and is tolerant of coastal exposure and pollution. Space trees 1–1.5m apart for a continuous pleached screen.
Stake securely on planting. Water well during the first growing season. Feed with a balanced fertiliser in spring. Clip once or twice a year to maintain the flat, structured canopy. Tie in new growth to the supporting frame as needed.
