Trained onto a dark green espalier frame, this specimen arrives ready to make an immediate statement against a wall, fence, or pergola.

Planting instructions
Plant in full sun to partial shade in a spot sheltered from cold winds, in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Provide sturdy support such as horizontal wires, a trellis, or a pergola, and tie the espalier framework into it as the plant grows.
Dig a hole wider than the pot and no deeper, so the plant sits at the same depth it was grown at. Backfill, firm in gently, and water thoroughly after planting.
Water well during the first growing season while the plant establishes. Prune twice a year, in summer and again in winter, to keep the framework tidy and encourage flowering.
