Plant immediately upon arrival between November and April while dormant. Soak roots in water for 2-3 hours before planting. Dig a trench 30cm deep and wide, and space plants 30-35cm apart (3 per metre). Spread roots out in the trench, backfill with soil mixed with organic matter, and firm well. Water thoroughly after planting. Keep well-watered during the first growing season. Feed with a balanced fertiliser in spring. Trim once a year in late summer to maintain shape. The slow growth rate means less frequent trimming is needed.
Important Safety Information
